Prisoners do be hella mad about getting freed from jail.
When you free your prisoners from an enemy prison, and they've missed a payday, they take a hit of annoyance. This is especially noticeable with Hornies and Avatars because of their huge NoSalary penalties.
@PlebSupporter tested this to not be the case. Can you reproduce it yourself?

Sorry for the late response. I don't have any saved games. This happens when I free the Vampire who is imprisoned. The liberation is not something you can do right away, it takes quite some time and we are almost half of the total time the map takes. This is probably because of the lack of “pay” that accumulates with time. It always happens in all games as long as enough time passes. As soon as I release him, he gets mad.
