One-Click: oddity with room panel room icon and cost count when holding down CTRL to tag a 5x5 area for digging

title, the icon for the room i last selected in the rooms panel will become marked as "not-affordable" (icon become greyed-out and the color for the room cost goes from gold to red) if i hold down CTRL to enter 5x5 tagging mode.

OK, a 5x5 lair is not affordable to you, which is why it is greying out the icon.

However, one-click mode is taking the properties of the previous "room building mode" and using them for the current "mark for digging mode".

I reproduced this by starting a level, building some rooms until I was low on gold, then cancelled room building and pressed Ctrl to use one-click dig mode - bug occurs whilst holding Ctrl.
