Objects are now left intact on trap placement
Unless the trap is placed on the exact same subtile.
@AdamPlenty When both traps and objects are small, this is ok. But it seems more like a glitch on bigger objects:

Having torches and traps not conflict does seem like an improvement to me, but better as specific exclusion. It looks like torches get removed when placing rooms to, but get replaced right away by the room.
taking sprite size in to account is would be an option for the boulder thing, leave the objects if it's small enough but delete them for bigger items
I don't think there's available information to base this on atm.

You could make it so that only traps that can be set on subtile doesn't remove object unless same subtile.
So the buggy boulder you showcased now is the mapmaker fault?

That would make this mostly a non-feature. Traps-on-subtiles is hardly used at all.

That is a wrong take in my opinion or a misunderstanding on what I meant? 🤔

Adam made it so objects are not removed when placing traps. Your suggestion is to only not remove an object when the trap is placed on a specific subtile.
But there are 0 traps that are only placed on subtiles, so it will end up still removing all objects.
