Why should we have a directory supp? Since it is part of the package I don't think it should be called supplemental.

The ArtifactsClass's instance methods are in facts static methods: it should be changed to that.

that's right. Well, in fact, I'd not mind refactoring the whole package similarly to the Regularisation Toolkit. We could change few things on the way like the one you mention?
