You should use the turtl app from f-droid to gather the right info.
another example for tagging and group for search. taging helps to finde some icons. grouping helps to find icons without searching because grouped icons in list.

I don't think a hashtag system is ever going to be implemented, having said that, when #481 gets merged, there will be a searchbar that you can use.
