It looks like it offers basically the same functionality as apprise-microservice.

Since this project looks a little sleepy, do you maybe want to refer to that project in your README instead?

Sorry for the late answer. AFAICS, apprise-api needs a volume for configuration persistence. This project intentionally has lower requirements and tries to KISS (keep it simple stupid), so the configuration can be done completely using env vars.

In my opinion both have their legitimacy.
