Agent comment from William Wong in Zendesk ticket #43386:

Dear Client Thank you for contacting DJI.

Unfortunately, the WSDK project has been suspended for a long time, it may contains some bugs. We suggest you use Mobile SDK, if you insist using Windows SDK, please check the following steps.

  1. You have to make sure you are using normal remote controller.
  2. You have to install drivers to let the PC recognises your remote controller. Link:https://developer.dji.com/windows-sdk/documentation/connection/Mavic2.html

Make sure you connects your remote controller to PC via a micro-USB cable.

Hopefully our solution can help you. Kindly Regards, DJI Developer Support

It's really sad news for someone who has no experience in mobile app development like me.
