Multiple drone suppory

Is there a support for multiple drone connections? in example, making multiple flight plans and ordering different drones against each flight plan. gz#24427

Public comment from Hummels Lei in Zendesk ticket #24427:

Sorry. It is impossible now. We have considered to implement this feature. But it should not be implemented in the near future.

interested in this feature. are there still no plans? the whole point of me buying a dji dron instead of building my own was because i thought the sdk could support a swarm and now im very dissipointed

@dji-dev ticket doesn't exist, does that mean that this is implemented?

If you use rosetta drone, you can sorta use qgroundcontrol or other ground control statation software with mavlink to connect multiple drones in theory. I dont know another person with a drone at my university so I am unable to test the theory.

have you found a way to control multiple drones?

Basically to control multiple drones, you would have to first understand drone kits' multi drone capabilities and one can easily create a script in python and simulate this on dronekit-sitl. IF you need taught how to do this, chatgpt will be able to help you along the way if you properly query. There are many ways to create a swarm but you first need to understand droneKit, then you will need to understand rosetta drone and how it communicates with DJI. Is it possible in dji SDK latest version, and why are you referring chatgpt here?
