Does this API work for 2018 tello drone?

Does it work for all dji tello drones or just for the tello EDU drone?

Tello EDU has 2.0 SDK, while "normal" Tello has previous version (1.3 I think) which is mentioned to be enough in this repo. What won't work is stuff from https://github.com/TelloSDK/Multi-Tello-Formation .
