DJI FlightRecord logs

Open trflorian opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Dear dji developers

We are experiencing issues with the built in dji flight record logger in both the older dji mobile sdk version 4.11.2 and the new version 4.12.

mobile sdk v4.11.2 If we compare two flight logs, one from dji go/go.v4/pilot app and a log file from our app built on the android mobile sdk, there are warnings missing in our logs. E.g. the GEO zone warnings only appear in the dji apps, not in our app. But other warnings such as "battery warnings" appear in both log files.

mobile sdk v4.12 with the new mobile sdk there are log files generated that are of normal siuze (~500kByte) but if we open them in airdata there is no flight data visible and the flight time is 0.

Do any of you experience the same problems / do you know a solution to these issues?

Kind regards Florian

Agent comment from William Wong in Zendesk ticket #35226:

Dear Client Thank you for contacting DJI.

The FlightRecord can be read by Assistant2 software. Since airdata is a 3rd party software, we are not sure about its supportability.

Hopefully our solution can help you. Kindly Regards, DJI Developer Support

I dont know if this behaviour has changed but there were .txt log files under /DJI/package-of-app/FlightRecord which could be uploaded to airdata and viewed there.
