hotpointMissionOperator startMission() sometimes fails with. Navigation is not Open

Hi,

Drone Used: Mavic 2 Pro. DJI SDK: 4.15

Sometimes, hotpointMissionOperator startMission() fails with the error. Navigation is not Open. My drone was connected to DJI Assistant and the Simulator was ON while this was tested. Also I was getting proper GPS signal from the Simulator. The error string does not make any sense. Moreover, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't giving rise to inconsistency.

Following is the code snippet: getHotpointMissionOperator().startMission(hotpointMission, new CommonCallbacks.CompletionCallback() { @Override public void onResult(DJIError djiError) { if (djiError != null) { setResultToToast("could not start hotpoint mission: " + djiError.getDescription(); } else { setResultToToast("hotpoint mission started successfully"); } }

Is this a bug in SDK?

This issue has been fixed in MSDK 4.15.1 and the latest version has been released. You can try it with the latest version.
