help I'm stupid

I'm on 1.14.2 & I can't figure out what the command is to pull new maps. I type /give @s minecraft:filled_map 1 & It accepts that but if I try to specify the map number it refuses to work.

/give @s filled_map{map:#}

You are not stupid. I did not know this either, and had to google it.

@djfun, please add a note about this to the FAQ! It would be really helpful.
