is it possible to enable the default scraper to find the tumblr_????_raw file instead of the 1280px version? It's usually higher quality.

I did not give it a try. You can try to improve this in https://github.com/dixudx/tumblr-crawler/blob/447b50de77b4dc666aa2e0a440a2cd0c7ae5b35b/tumblr-photo-video-ripper.py#L210-L212
