I've tried the workaround by @mmlr and it seems to fix the issue for me at least so far.

Adjusted `inpatches` based on your suggestion :) BTW, wiki should be adjusted as well once we have it in the package as it references configs located in $HOME.

I thought that getting the meta info is done to resolve recipe requires?

It looks like some other problem as I tried it with SOURCE_DIR.
