Feature Request: Quick script to read on desktop

It looks like the code is almost ready to provide a script that the output of e.g. zbarcam could be piped into to decode a stream. (zbar.sf.net : the development sources fix a bug with reading binary data I believe, might be fixed)

This would provide for transmitting data to desktop computers.
