I will consider this to be the best MacOS AI generation tool, IF...

Hi,

DiffusionBee is one of the best image generation tool for MacOS, and the native support for M series processors is impressive. With the improved and efficient SDXL and Flux support, DiffusionBee is the tool I would love to use everyday for passion projects and work.

However, I do believe there are still couple of missing features and errors to be fixed.

Feature Requests:

  • Native FaceSwap
  • More SDXL checkpoints support
  • Detailed Inpaint/Outpaint Controls
  • More settings and the ability to change default working folders
  • Upscaling with re-rendering at higher resolution
  • Light photo editing features

Errors

I do experience common issues with the latest version of DiffusionBee (2.5.3), mainly:

  • Importing downloaded SDXL models often leads to errors;
  • Flux-Dev renders a grid like texture;
  • Inpaint feature it's often low quality and makes way more mistakes than other tools;
  • Most Lora models don't work, not even the ones created by the same DiffusionBee Lora tool;
  • The Upscaler just blows up the pictures, doesn't seem to import any other upscale models.

I think a good inspiration for a great user friendly AI gen software is Fooocus, which unfortunately for MacOS isn't as reliable and as stable. Fortunately for DiffusionBee this is a great opportunity.

DiffusionBee has the greatest potential on Mac, your optimization is impressive. I hope to see a new version soon.
