Get backend quit unexpectedly error every time I try to generate an image

I am running on M1 mac (Big Sur), 16GB RAM. Models load fine, but any time I try to run it- backend quit unexpectedly error, whole program shuts down. Just updated 1.1 to 1.2, same issue. Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same issue and am using a computer with the same specs. I've tried reinstalling and rebooting in different combinations to no avail and would love to hear tips/insight.
