Android: weird handoff between gamepad and touch

While holding a gamepad button, touching the screen causes the button to remain pressed even if actually released.

Cause yet unknown.

Happens at least on Android. Don't have a gamepad I can connect to iOS.

It's basically as if touching the screen stops any gamepad events until the gamepad is pressed again.

Can't seem to figure it out.
