Re-creating a new topic for same post in wordpress is not working

For a particular post in my WP, I wants to create a new topic each time I update my post.

For the first time, the topic in discourse is created. To update the post, I first unlink the post, then select "Create Topic", and publish the post. The page gets updated, but the new topic won't be created.

The error message is: "There has been an error publishing this post to Discourse."

Is this expected behavior or a bug? I am using the latest discourse plugin.

If you play around with unlinking from discourse, updating the wp post, relinking etc, eventually you will see the message that this url is already linked to Discourse. So basically it seems that Discourse only allows one topic to be linked to a single WP url.
