Making Single Tenant work for the Microsoft auth plugin.

If you see something more that should be fixed before getting this approved. Please, just let me know and I will fix it. Sorry for several commits, I didn't realize that my struggles in the same branch while working on using the fork on my Discourse installation were also getting into this PR. Haven't used GitHub for a long time.

I'm just wondering. Is this kind of update not wanted? I have seen several forks with the same issue and request on meta Discourse as well.

Would be good to get such clarification in the discourse topic if that is the case. Or shall I spend some time to resolve the conflict for a merge?
