Rebuilding your body as carrion removes all yours stats, sets them to 0, making you pretty weak.

Yeah, since it generates an entirely new human, said human has no stats/perks attached. The carrion's base identity is where all the stats are. Stats SHOULD be stored in the spider core instead, so carrion can keep stats and perks when shifting bodies, but they're not, meaning the carrion can't fucking do SHIT after running away.
