Borer in changeling gets deleted under mysterious circumstances

I was having a borer round recently and partnered up with a ling. I'd read minds for bank details, stats, languages and the like while they sucked the fluids, it was cool. But at some point, while the ling was eating a bread tube, I just got deleted. Like, I no longer existed. Goodbye me. No corpse. NO idea what caused this, but it literally just took me out of the round, suddenly, without explanation.
