E-Word shortcut wipes out the previous message

This is probably the simplest fix in the world, I'm not sure that you didn't do it intentionally to keep newbies like me from making the game too "easy". When you use that keyboard shortcuts by tapping on your character it always wipes out the message written in the dust, making it impossible to use that shortcut to engrave multiple times in the same square. As everyone knows, wiping the dust every time is a great way to die. Currently, I resort to "inventory" > "hands" and pasting in the word, but this is very tedious and diminishes significantly from my enjoyment of the game on the iPhone. Can you rewrite the E-Word shortcut to answer "y" to "Do you want to add to the writing in the dust? Or at least make some kind of menu option to set the default?

Does Elbereth still work if it gets added to some nonsense engraving? Like 'ElxxxElbereth'?

Yes it does. As long as there is at least one valid sequence of "Elbereth" in the engraving, it scares off bad guys. A common strategy is to engrave it 5 or 6 times additively, then stand on it to rest/heal/throw daggers/cast spells at your foes.

Ok, this will get fixed in 1.2.2
