Indication of unread messages on app icon

I can only speak for macOS and Ubuntu with Unity. But there, the Signal-Desktop Icon bounces or glows if there are unread messages.

Such a behavior indicating unread messages is currently missing in Signal Muon. Maybe Muon allows us to even improve the behavior of Signal-Desktop by additionally displaying a badge with the count of unread messages.
