Docs on how to add a new chain to DipDup

Open pradel opened this issue 5 months ago • 3 comments

What feature would you like to see in DipDup?

I was evaluating the amount of work required to add a new chain to DipDup. It would be great to have some docs explaining how one can do so.

Why do you need this feature, what's the use case?

I am exploring adding a new chain to DipDup.

Hi! Does your chain operates on one of runtimes supported by DipDup (like EVM, Substrate) or completely different ones?

In the first case we usually test common indexing scenarios with available public nodes, add fixups if required, and add page in "Supported networks" section docs'. For other runtimes - mileage may vary depending on blockchain complexity.

What network is on your mind?
