I ended up switching to Xorg + i3 instead, it's more stable at the moment, but I can give it a try soon. I'll let you know how it goes.
I tried defining a normal user to run uWSGI with, but it didn't solve the problem, still killing workers brutally.
Just tried it now. Still having the same issue, it gets killed immediately instead of gracefully.
@mbigras thanks a lot, that was a very comprehensive answer! I don't use uWSGI anymore, but I didn't know the difference between those two forms of running commands was sh...
