Call for additional maintainers
@terrier989 Thanks for creating and maintaining this and other Dart packages! It is a breathtaking amount of work.
It seems this package has not been maintained since late 2021. Looking at the parent org dint-dev, I see you are the only member.
Please grant more contributors permissions to maintain this and your other awesome packages. That will take some weight off your shoulders, and your packages can continue to flourish when you're away.
Here are some suggested kick off tasks:
- [ ] Add at least two additional dint-dev members.
- [ ] Add at least two additional maintainers for this package (possibly already covered by adding dint-dev members?).
Volunteers who wish to be added as maintainers to handle code reviews / pull requests, please comment! Especially if you have previously contributed to the project.
(I myself haven't contributed yet, I only recently started using this package, but I'm impressed with what I see and am happy to help find additional maintainers.)
Hi. This is a great idea. I haven't contributed yet but I'd like to, specially to "noise_protocol" which I had to make a fork off.
I made a fork of this package. You can find it here. I am open to pull requests and adding other maintainers. https://github.com/tjcampanella/better_cryptography
Hi! Maintaining this package is a lot hard work so I'd love to add people with some good pull requests as maintainers.
Maybe @kenta-wakasa would be a good candidate? Currently seems to be the only contributor with non-trivial pull requests.

He has been invited! 👍
My company wanted to use this package in its app that is why I forked it a few months ago to fix some things but if this is going to be maintained I will gladly close down the fork and focus efforts here.

Does it make sense to move some of the code to pointycastle, since the goals of both projects is kind of similar?
