Make sure you're on [1.2.5](https://github.com/dimtpap/obs-scale-to-sound/releases/tag/1.2.5). Then with the filter applied to a source, post a log file (Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File)
The plugin is on Flathub already, it's written on the README too. Unless there is a reason not to use Flathub, only improvement could be to add the link https://flathub.org/apps/com.obsproject.Studio.Plugin.ScaleToSound
