Well, Tor browser can be used without Tor as well. But even unstable Tor browser versions are based on Firefox ESR.

@atomGit HTTPZ is great, but it uses a list of ignored hosts which is temporary (unlike Smart HTTPS). It is not very convinient, IMHO.
Firefox Focus (Klar) uses GeckoView engine. Firefox Lite is a fork, it uses WebView.
Can this project use [unbranded Firefox builds](https://wiki.mozilla.org/Add-ons/Extension_Signing#Unbranded_Builds) instead? (Unlike regular builds they allow to use unsigned extensions by setting `xpinstall.signatures.required` to false.)
