Pikmin 3 disc stops spinning when dumping certain file

The file at the path "/vol/content/CMCmn/map/vs_antsnest2.szs" always halts my attempts at dumping Pikmin 3 (US) with ddd. The disc stops spinning and all progress on the dump stops. The point at which it freezes is roughly always between the 35,000 kb and 42,000 kb marks.

Did you try an other disc? Maybe the disc has scratches?

Well, I don't own any other Pikmin 3 discs. I've been able to dump discs of other games though.

Upon inspection, I can't see any significant blemishes, and the game has never run into any issues during runtime. I'm inclined to believe there aren't scratches. I could post a picture if that would help, I'm not sure how pristine the disc ought to be.

I don't think any of my friends have the game, but if I find that one of them does, I'll try it with their disc.
