Scroll limit for viewing a profile

I am trying to scroll far back in someone's profile to see their old retweets and after going back ~2500 tweets or so tweets stop loading? I don't see any errors on the page or on the console, is there any way around this limit?

I am using v1.8.3.6, have tried it on both chrome and firefox.
