I see some older work reference PolyBench. It doesn't look like it is still being maintained, but perhaps there are some interesting benchmarks in there never the less?

Are there interesting newer papers that use it? I'm a bit reluctant to incorporate more unmaintained benchmark suites, unless the code quality is much better than is usually the case.

Good question. A very quick search yields at least the following papers within the last two years:
