Git command (:) shows no text.

Pressing Shift + : hotkey brings up a little command window where git commands can be entered. The only problem is, you can't see what you are typing inside it.

I can see the Git command placeholder text, but once I start typing the placeholder text goes away (as expected) but no other text appears.
