No minification

Hi

I have installed and set up everything as I believe it should be but despite flushing caches including APC I can't get either the CSS or JS minifcation working.

I have selected CSS Tidy for CSS minify and JSMin for JS Minify type.

Do you know what could be wrong?

Hi,

Do you have third party extension which may be in conflict with this module? e.g. Fooman_Speedster You may have to find out which one is in conflict. This module overwrites the classes: Mage_Core_Model_ Design_Package and Mage_Core_Block_Head. If a third party overwrite also these classes, the problem may come from that.

I tried Fooman Speedster but that didn't work well although the advanced one seemed to work ok in parts but neither were installed when trying your extension. I will look through several other extensions I have to see if I can see anything obvious where those classes you are overwriting might be clashing.
