Agreed, sidebars on both sides make responsiveness more important. Playing with that constraint: Most users brought up the table as a case for unconstrained resizing, without mentioning the inspection panel...
I like how the sorting icon doesn't take space in Chrome (as the label is more important than the arrow), maybe some smart CSS filter can improve contrast for that...

Makes sense. The sidebar tabs are also the most affected by space constrains. Just noting that Debugger and Toolbox tabs are also sortable.
