VDU Controls failed to obtain capabilities for 1 of 2 external monitors.

Hi, I am having problems with the KDE brightness Widget not/sometimes controlling brightness for one of the two monitors attached to the machine. I was told about vdu_controls when discussing this on the openSUSE forums.

I installed the vdu_controls and ddcutil-service packages available from repo_oss.

When I initiate the program KDE application menu) there is an issue with the NEC monitor and VDU Controls stating the following.

kscreen-doctor -o reports DDC/CI: allowed for both monitors. This changes sometimes to not allowed it seems.

Can you tell me about why the NEC monitor and VDU Controls is having this difficulty a bit? Is it possible to get this working better?
