Warning added in 2.8. Removal in 2.9 and 3.0.

with https://github.com/digital-asset/daml/pull/18262 and https://github.com/digital-asset/ghc/pull/170 this has been removed for Daml 3.0. We could backport those to 2.9 but I don't think it's necessary.
