That will be nice if Dopamine supports ASIO output.

I'm actually interested to know the added value of ASIO support, as I don't know anything about it. What does it add compared to WASAPI?

I'm by no means an expert so would appreciate someone with more knowledge commenting but from my understanding, the benefit over WASAPI exclusive mode is that it bypasses all of Microsoft's audio processing in Windows.

Maybe is late to write here, ASIO and WASAPI are almost identical, they are different approaches to bypass windows DirectSound and let an external DAC choose the proper sample rate and bit depth, but I was just looking for some open Issues just because when I choose exclusive mode to my DAC it isn't working as intended, because if I do the same in other software like Foobar which also use WASAPI in exclusive mode, it works.

So that is all, ASIO and WASAPI are for bypass, but WASAPI is in general more stable and has less issues (for experience and what the mayority of people usually says).

In quality terms, there are not clear evidence that one is much better than the other.

I'll love to have the DAC working properly because Dopamine is by far more user friendly that a lot of software, if you could check WASAPI again could be awesome :)

Thanks!
