Messed up history?

I tried to clone this and it downloaded 80MB of stuff.

I don't think we need all of this for this project.

Also, some commits have useless messages, like "Update snapcraft" or even hashtags.

You may want to evaluate whether to just rebase the history and start over.

It looks like at a certain point in time you had this kind of files:
