Close list when clicking chevron icon on multiSuggestion

We have gotten feedback that the list should close when clicking the arrow icon inside the component. You can click outside the component to close it.

• The icon is not a button, is it possible to create a click area here? Will it cause other issues?
• How do other similar components handle this?
  • Native select do not have this as clicking anywhere outside the list will close it.

This is just an input, and the icon is not a button. So it is not possible. As long as the input has focus, the list is open

Hello! Thanks for all the replies to my feature request. In my opinion, it is more intuitive to close the dropdown by clicking the arrow icon, but if this would cause any problems I can see that there is not really a point of implementing this.
