I would like to volunteer on these kinds of trivial issues and help guide them through. Is there any way, I could become some kind of maintainer as well, please? @nedtwigg @Goooler

I would actually be fine starting with a restriction to just apply dependabot-type changes, so the power is somewhat limited, as I might not quite be ready yet to fulfill greater tasks. But easy stuff like patches is limited in scope and therefore something easier to consider.
