git_bash_windows_powerline
git_bash_windows_powerline copied to clipboard
didn't work for me.
I did everything as you said. But after closing and reopening GitBash doesn't seem to load the new them. Also I didn't restarted, maybe that was required.
It started working when I added the code given in readme.md
to bash.bashrc
in C:/program-files/git/etc
instead of ~/.bashrc
. But still there are some issues with unicode characters.

i also done it but not working
This might be a little late but, You have to chose the font from the command line settings after installation.
If you are using the default windows console host,
1. Enter the properties with clicking the icon on the top left corner of the window.
2. Click on the Font
tab.
3. Chose the font you installed (You can also adjust the size of the texts).
If you are on git bash, it is exactly the same but the places of the buttons are different. I hope this helps.
