if I install a proot Linux distro under termux, then I can successfully install ghunt under it.
Can you ping 8.8.8.8? Show us all error messages.

test the other termubu called ubuntu-on-termux. the startup.sh and ubuntu.sh scripts do not generate the group not found warnings. https://github.com/MFDGaming/ubuntu-in-termux
