is that due to changes in github API ? given that the project was untouched for a year, this may explain that Nevertheless, i'm new to scala and Play etc,...

sbt-fork-run-plugin v 2.3.4 no longer supported in type safe http API

in project/play-fork-run.sbt, the plugin should be at the next version : "com.typesafe.play" % "sbt-fork-run-plugin" % "2.3.8"
