Questions regarding camera setup for stereo DIC

Hi, I have some questions to ask you.When we take pictures, the models of two CCD cameras and the lens must be the same.?If the two cameras adjust the focus manually, is it ok if the focal length is different? Are there any requirements on the distance and Angle of the two cameras?In addition, when calibrating, is there any requirement for the distance between the calibration plate and the camera, or just shoot clearly?Looking forward to your reply.
