Does setting `GDK_BACKEND=x11` (when running dlauncher, not dlauncher-toggle) make it work? This just makes it run under xwayland, and might not be a good solution but it is mostly temporary...

hm, this seems like a big issue.. I think it might be fixed in v4 but for the most part I probably wont add a fix for this in v3...
