Focus on message field when switching to chat

I'm not sure if this is an issue in my environment, but when clicking on a chat/user in the sidebar, the message field is not focused by default. The focus remains on the sidebar. This is a bit inconvenient as it requires a mouse click to actually start typing into the chat.
