@ripper2hl ARCHETYPE-311 doesn't seem to be for this. It is in the same area, but 311 is a bug "Basedir property in archetype:generate cannot be overriden", not a new feature....

This sounds very like #5254 that I raised back in January to no response.

Is this different from the mithermometer that is already supported?

I have my command timeout as the default, the per_device_timeout as 15, and the update_interval as 300. Saying that I am seeing more timeouts than I used to.
