It looks like you hacked up the go client on the left for your video. Is that correct? It looks from the log output that you hard coded it to...
You don't have to hard code the go-peer to connect to your peer. It has a command line argument "-connect" that you can pass the multiaddr to (e.g. /ip4/127.0.0.1/tcp/9096/p2p/\).
@jxs @elenaf9 I'm ready to land this peer. It's blocking me getting the universal connectivity workshop completed. If there's no objections, I'll land this on the 23rd.
@2color, so what's the standard procedure for deploying this on a VPS somewhere if it isn't with a Dockerfile?
I've been able to get this into both a standalone docker compose stack and a k8s cluster easily using this Dockerfile. I would like to do it the "correct" way...
@2color all of what you said makes sense. I think the difficulty now is that none of the deployment methods are documented well. At least, I couldn't find the information...
