There was no way to reproduce this for me, so I added a minimum size for the page. Can you test out the latest release and check if it fixes...

These issues have nothing to do with the applet itself. It is an open Plasma Bug. You can create these warnings for any applet by just opening the config pages....

It is intended to work this way. The extra buttons you see is from the system tray itself. All applets within the tray will have those. I guess this issue...
